“We decided we wanted to sell our motorhome but being in the 'premium' category there was a challenge of reaching the correct audience and once sold, the concern of moving large amounts of money about (over £40,000) so I looked for a way of mitigating our financial risk and increasing the likelihood of a reasonably quick sale. I made a couple of enquiries with 'we buy your motorhome' dealerships, first one said 'a Hobby, ooh a bit niche, couldn't possibly give you even an inkling of value without seeing it, second just sent an email saying they had plenty of that model in stock! One form and next day a phone call from Amanda, a really delightful young lady who had a value in mind (having done her homework) along with a sensible selling strategy, she also asked what ball park figure I wanted to see in my bank account. Once that was verbally agreed off we went. At a convenient time Amanda arrived with David who then proceeded with a warts and all video and commentary plus a few stills. We had a lovely chat about all things motorhome, current market, time scales and a promise to have the advert prepared ready for approval and publication the following day. Advert arrived via email on the following day, I asked for a couple of amendments which were agreed and the advert was posted with two videos available for serious enquiries. After a week Amanda sent a summary email of the enquiries, nothing serious at that point but of course I didn't have to deal with them in any case. Towards the end of the second week a phone call from Amanda with a serious enquiry, viewing set up for a Saturday, Amanda arrived at appointed time along with potential buyer (and family), viewing took place, Amanda dealt with financial side, the price was as we had already agreed so deposit taken. Exchange agreed for Tuesday and everything was all done and dusted. Not a drop of anxiety on my part about anything, just a trouble free and stress free transaction! It really was that simple, I have NEVER sold anything with less stress and hassle and to have the financial worries taken away is a real bonus. Would I recommend, absolutely, Amanda really is lovely to deal with and David's video and commentary certainly convinced the buyer to make a 260 mile round trip to view and Amanda already had a second potential customer lined up if the first buyer fell through. Brilliant!!.”

“I recently purchased my first motorhome through David Allen and Amanda Evans. Being based in Aberdeenshire and with the vehicle being located near Reading required a slight leap of faith. Amanda was very helpful answering our questions, to the point that we were satisfied to pay a deposit and pay for flights down to London. I was met by David at the station in the motorhome and taken the short distance to their premises to properly view it. Everything was as described to my relief. The transaction was promptly executed and all the paperwork completed and I was on the road within an hour; a very painless affair (unlike the drive home).
